Oh, Josefina, this crown has such special meaning to us. We recently had the joy of restoring a beautiful vintage wax crown from 1919 for a great granddaughter to wear on her wedding day. We were so enamored with both the process of restoring such an heirloom piece as well as the design of the crown, that we fell completely madly in love and are paying tribute to that crown with our inspired version. This beautiful crown has been named after it's original bride, Josefina. Beautiful hand sculpted clay flowers, buds and leaves in multiple sizes and designs create the vintage and whimsical design of this crown. They are all hand wired to a metal headband base with pearl centres. Peeking out amongst the flowers are metal leaves which provide a more modern aesthetic and nestled amongst the leaves are hand made silk tulle leaves (a staple in vintage millinery) stretched over plated wire. Lastly, this beautiful crown is hand wrapped with metallic Mokuba ribbon for a perfect finish. This crown really is a truly magical and special piece
